Ourobóros

Ourá Therapy is deeply rooted in the ancient symbol of the Ouroboros: a serpent consuming its own tail, continually devouring itself and being reborn. This symbol encapsulates the continuous cycle of life, the universe, and our human experiences, reminding us that an end is also a beginning.

In challenging times, we feel a sense of disconnection, like we have lost ourselves along with our loved one. Therapy serves as a compassionate companion, guiding us towards reconnection and recommitment to our essence. It aids us in staying grounded in the present moment and fostering a sense of peace. Grief is not a linear path, but a transformative cycle, that can lead to deep personal growth.

My goal is to help you uncover your truth, empowering you to make decisions from a place of conscious presence and illuminate the potential for renewal, much like the Ouroboros.

Sheridan Wildash

We take many journeys in our lifetimes, many people, lands and skies, each one shaping us and leading us through chaos or clarity. However, the most incredible journey of all, the most challenging and fascinating is the one that takes us back to the core of our own hearts. To whom we truly are below all the layers of suffering and pain that come with being human.

I am a Grief Therapist specialised in Trauma, Loss and Bereavement.

My practice is informed by Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches and cultivated by a culmination of my own personal and professional voyage. The therapeutic process is a challenging but rewarding journey back to oneself, I am honoured to accompany my clients in Melbourne and internationally through life's transitions.

You will not move on from them, but I will help you move forward with them.

The depth of our grief is simply the price we pay for the extent of our love.

Life is suffering, the antidote is truth.

Courageously talking to a therapist can help us order our thoughts.
If we let grief thrive inside us it gets stuck in a chaotic web that can interfere with every aspect of our lives.
If grief is not addressed and processed, it can have long-term negative effects on ones emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
Giving the time and safe space to acknowledge loss and actively engage with emotions is important in healing.
